In 1978, I was 16 and went here during the tour our Church had from Amsterdam to Shannon, Ireland. As I took slides inside the Ruins outside the Cathedral, it seemed like God was talking to me.

The man-made lake was drained several years ago, it now collects rubbish. Levels of crime and antisocial behaviour in the park are above average.

I worked there as a YTS trainee in 1986. Nice people. I remember Avtar Singh and Andy Grice the best. Tarsem was the boss and was a very good businessman. Good mentor. Paid for my driving lessons and test. I became a little disillusioned there though and quit to become a CAD Operator, then graphic designer. Fond memories there though. Kelvin Willshee. Would love to get back in touch with Andy and Avtar. I wonder what became of them.

A wonderful shop with knowledgable staff, much better than these big out of town shops that don't know what they are talking about. Good range of pets of which we now have a new edition to our family "Violet" the guinea pig.
